Hi! I'm Sheri. I am currently working from Cochrane, Alberta, Canada. For as long as I can remember I have loved to create art. I believe when an artist creates, it comes from the soul.

I started painting in 2012, mostly working with acrylics and some oils. In 2018 I came across some paintings which were done in pastels and thought how amazing it was to be able to create paintings that had so many details. After all, pastels are super light colors and just sticks of chalk right? Nope. There are all kinds of colors, pastel pencils, pan pastels, and the chalk kind too. However, it is preferable to call the 'chalk kind' pastel sticks. I have learned to be careful who you say chalk to, you might be told to go and play hop scotch! Who knew? Well, not me. I had to try this incredible medium, and wow! I love it!

I have always been very passionate about animals. I have had several commissions, for both wildlife and pet portraits. I am an active member of the Cochrane Art Club, and also sell my work through the two annual shows they have each year.

When I'm not working on art, you can find me hanging out with my own fur babies. I also enjoy hiking, photography and new adventures!
